Warranty: General automotive repair

Warranty on general service repairs is 12 months / 12,000 miles parts and labor, unless otherwise specified. Warranty is for part(s) replaced and labor operations to install parts replaced. Warranty covers, if necessary, any fluids as part of the repair.

 

Warranty: Transmission Overhaul:

The warranty for transmission overhauls is for a period of 24 months or 24,000 miles whichever comes first.

Warranty for transmission repairs: (not overhaul) will be 90 days or 3,000 miles unless otherwise stated on repair invoice.

The warranty is for parts used and labor operations to install the transmission assuming that all components are free of rust, corrosion and/or wear and will not interfere with the removal of such components. Warranty coverage for transmission overhaul: Covers internally lubricated transmission components, torque converter and external transmission seals and gaskets. All rebuilt transmissions must be inspected between 30 days and 60 days after repair and validated by Boeser Transmission & Auto that it is in good functioning order.

 

What the warranty does not cover:

All Warranty work must be performed by BTA or a shop authorized by BTA.

Warranty does NOT cover towing charges in the chance of breakdown. The customer is responsible for contacting BTA within a reasonable amount of time if the covered component is not operating normally.   The customer is responsible for the care of the vehicle that all systems of the vehicle that affect the covered component and are stays in proper operating order at all times. The customer is responsible for the service of the vehicle to keep the “Service Engine Soon” lamp or “Check Engine” lamp, which ever one applies to the vehicle, from staying on due to lack of maintenance and/or repairs.  Failure to do so may result in failure of the covered component and will not be covered under warranty. The customer is responsible to use reasonable care in the event of a breakdown to not further damage the covered component.  Warranty does not cover against abusive driving habits, off road use or excessive loads exerted on the vehicle. We do not cover the fact that rust and corrosion of components that may need to be removed, may break or must be destroyed to be removed from vehicle for the warranty repair. This will be extra labor and possible parts that the customer will be responsible for.

Warranty is for current owner of the vehicle at the time of repair and is not transferable.
